Our 10 Days Tanzania safaris, tours, travel and trekking packages, which specifically include 3 nights in Serengeti National Park, have been designed to offer you more time in the Serengeti to witness the wildebeest migration. You will experience the excitement of game viewing in some of the most spectacular national wildlife game parks in Tanzania.

This unforgettable Tanzanian safari journey will take you to the Ngorongoro Crater, featuring one of the highest concentrations of game in Africa. Here you will witness an amazing spectacle of African wildlife – inside a self-contained world teeming with animals.

This safaris or holidays travel tours will also take you to the Lake Manyara National Park, one of Tanzania’s most dramatically located wildlife areas, consisting of a shallow but huge soda lake, located at the foot of the Great Rift Valley’s western escarpment. The size of the park makes it perfect for a one-day game drive and is notably famous for it’s tree-climbing lions.

The tour will further take you to the Serengeti National Park, into the heart of wild Africa, a massive wilderness of 14500 square km, where every day brings a new landscape and a new adventure.

This safaris will also take you to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area in Tanzania, featuring one of the highest concentrations of game and arguably the densest population of predators and carnivores in Africa. This safaris will  take you to the Lake Eyasi where you will be able to meet to African tribe called Datoga and  Hadzabe, these are people living in the bush near the lake. Learn about their way of life, animal tracking, medicinal plants, and much more. Walking tour along the lake shore.

You will visit the Tarangire National Park, one of Tanzania’s most dramatically located wildlife areas, consisting of many elephant, zebra, eland, and wildebeest and plenty of predators.

Finally this tour will take you to Karatu where you will walk around the village and meet the local people who will show you how their prepare their local food before you head back to Arusha City.

Day 0: Arrival at Kilimanjaro Airport to Arusha

Welcome to Tanzania.On arrival at Kilimanjaro Airport you’ll meet your safari guide/driver who will transfer you to Arusha city to your allocated accommodation as requested for dinner and overnight. You will get chance for briefing and introduction about your safari before your dinner.

Day 1: Arusha to Lake Manyara

Distance: 130 km

Non game-viewing travel time: 2 – 3 hours

After tasty breakfast from your hotel the tour will departs to Lake Manyara National Park. Lake Manyara National Park offers breathtaking views and a large variety of habitats. Acacia woodlands, water forests, baobab strewn cliffs, algae-streaked hot springs, swamps and the lake itself. And thanks to this the small Park is able to support a large number of animal species and incredible bird life. Manyara has the largest concentration of baboons anywhere in the world, also include Buffalo, Elephant Wildebeest, Zebra, Waterbuck, Warthog, Impala and also Manyara health population lion are famous for their tree-climbing antics.

Lake Manyara National Park has over 300 bird species including Eurasian migrant birds, acacia associated birds, raptors, and 3 endangered Tanzanian species: Rufous-tailed weaver, Ashy starlings and Black-collared Lovebird. The bush clups on the edge of the floodplain is occupied by groups of Long-tailed fiscal, the rare Pangani Long claw. The birds in the Lake Manyara forest are: Silvery-cheeked Hornbill, Narina Trogon, Crowned Hornbill, Schawlow’s Turaco, Emerald Cuckoo, Crowned Eagle and ground dwelling Crested Guinea fowl and many more can also be found in the Lake Manyara National Park. Day 2: Lake Manyara National Park to Serengeti Plains

Distance: 205 km

Non game-viewing travel time: 6 hours

After breakfast you head towards the Serengeti National Park, via the beautiful high lying farmland of Karatu and the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Leaving the highlands behind, we descend into the heart of wild Africa – the Serengeti National Park – with its endless plains, rolling into the distance as far as the eye can see. You head to the central park area, known as the Seronera area, one of the richest wildlife habitats in the park, featuring the Seronera River, which provides a valuable water source to this area and therefore attracts wildlife well representative of most of the Serengeti’s species. You’ll arrive in time for lunch and enjoy an afternoon game drive in the Serengeti National Park. Later evening drive back to your allocated accommodation as requested for Dinner and Overnight.

Day 3: Full Day Serengeti Plains Game Drive

Be one of only a few fortunate people to glide in a Hot Air Balloon over the Serengeti Plains (available at supplementary cost by pre-arrangement). Floating silently above the awakening bush, while spotting wildlife and enjoying the amazing scenery of Africa, across rivers and over numerous small villages.

After breakfast You will have full day game drive with lunch at the lodge. You will follow the Kopjes Circuit, which goes anti-clockwise around the Maasai Kopjes, which usually attract a number of lion and some formidably large cobras. Kopjes are weathered granite outcrops, scattered around the plains, most of which are miniature ecosystems, providing shade and drinking water in pools left in the rock after the rains. This makes the kopjes particularly good for spotting wildlife in the dry seasons – including lions, which like to lie in wait for animals coming to drink! Day 4: Full Day Serengeti Plains Game Drive

After breakfast you enjoy a full day game drive with lunch at the lodge, along the Sogore River Circuit, which loops into the plains south of the Seronera River, and which is good for possible lion, Thomson gazelle, topi, ostrich and cheetah sightings. The visitor’s center not far from the Serengeti Seronera Lodge and public campsites, is well worth a visit after the morning’s game drive. This nicely designed center, offers some interesting wildlife displays as well as a gift shop selling information leaflets and maps of the area. The center also has a shop where cold drinks and snacks can be purchased, as well as a picnic area and information trail up and around a nearby kopje. You will enjoy a relaxed picnic lunch at the center in the shade of the giant acacia trees. Later evening you’ll drive back to your Allocated accommodation as requested for Dinner and Overnight .

Day 5:Serengeti Plains to Ngorongoro Crater

 Distance: 145 km

Non game-viewing travel time: 4 hours

The day to say good bye to Serengeti National Park. After breakfast you’ll have early morning game drives in Serengeti park and after the tour departs to Ngorongoro Conservation area. You’ll stopover at Olduvai Gorge, boasting with a history dating back to the dawn of time. It was here, that the anthropologists Drs. Lois and Mary Leakey discovered the skulls of ‘Nutcracker Man’ and ‘Handy Man’, both very significant links in the chain of human evolution, as one among of our Tanzania History. You’ll meet expertise who will provide you much information about human evolution History in the area. Later afternoon proceed to Ngorongoro Conservation Area  to your allocated accommodation as requested where you’ll have your Dinner and Overnight.

Day 6: Ngorongoro Crater to Karatu

After breakfast you descend 600 m into this magnificent crater for a full-day game drive. The Ngorongoro Crater is one of the most densely crowded African wildlife areas in the world and is home to an estimated 30,000 animals including some of Tanzania’s last remaining black rhino. Supported by a year round water supply and fodder, the Ngorongoro National Park supports a vast variety of animals, which include herds of wildebeest, zebra, buffalo, eland, warthog, hippo, and giant African elephants. Another big draw card to this picturesque national park is its huge population of predators, which include lions, hyenas, jackals, cheetahs and the ever-elusive leopard. During late afternoon you’ll head back to Karatu at your allocated accommodation as requested for Dinner and Overnight.

Day 7: Karatu to Manyara Masai Boma.

Distance: 27 km
Non – game viewing time: 25 Minutes

After breakfast to your Hotel the tour will depart to Manyara Masai Boma. This is one of our most popular Culture tours in the Masai tribe, which is based around a traditional Masai Boma (dwelling). This tour is led by Masai local guide and you will be told about tribal customs and the methods in which they build their dwellings. The village you visit still preserve the traditional Masai way of life and you will be enthralled by the truly wonderful and inspiring tales that these people will tell you about their history and way of life. You will also get a chance to learn how the Masai women make their beautifully colored and intricate jeweler. The money raised from the sale of their traditional jeweler goes directly back into the local community. In addition, when you join our Masai Boma trip you will be able to watch a traditional welcome dance – something truly special that is sure to become a lifelong memory. Day 8: Karatu to Tarangire National Park

Distance: 155 km

Non game-viewing travel time: 3½ hours

After breakfast the tour will departs Tarangire National Park.Tarangire is well known for its huge elephant population and baobab trees. It forms the center of an annual migratory cycle that includes up to 3000 elephants, 25,000 wildebeest and 30,000 zebras. In Tarangire National Park northern Tanzania’s you will enjoy finest birding. The low baobab-clad plains and fever-tree groves here support many cool species including three Tanzanian endemics and near-endemics: Over 550 birds species found in the park including Ashy Starling, Yellow-collared Lovebird, and Rufous-tailed Weaver. The lush grasses are full of ground birds like Northern White-bellied Bustard and both Red-necked and Yellow-necked Francolins and many others. Day 9: Karatu to Lake Eyasi.

Walking Tour

After breakfast you will heard to Lake Eyasi is a very scenic soda lake found on the southern border of the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. This less visited lake lies at the base of the Eyasi escarpment on the western rift valley wall. This afternoon you will be introduced to the extraordinary people who belong to an indigenous tribe known as the ‘Hadzabe’ (hunter-gatherer Bushmen). The tribe inhabits the shores of Lake Eyasi as do the Nilotic-speaking Datoga tribe. You will visit these tribes, which will include a visit to their homesteads, learn about their way of life, animal tracking, medicinal plants, and much more. Some wildlife and a wide range of bird species can be viewed during walks around the lake, which can be arranged. Dinner and Overnight at your Allocated accommodation as requested.

Day 10: Karatu to Arusha

Today after breakfast you’ll have time to explore Karatu Market see what they always sell,visiting the local people who will preparing the local food for you. Enjoy African food prepared for you, see how African people prepare and cooking their delicious food. You will have chance to ask them some questions if you have.Later afternoon you’ll drive back to Arusha city to your Hotel or airport drop off.
