Mount Meru Climbing is an active composite volcano located 70 kilometers (43 mi) west of Mount Kilimanjaro in the nation of Tanzania. At a height of 4,565 meters (14,977 ft), it is visible from Mt Kilimanjaro on a clear day, and it is the ninth or tenth highest mountain in Africa.
Day 1: Drive from Arusha to Momela Gate start to hick Miriakamba Hut.
After breakfast 08h00 drives from Arusha to Momela gate Mount Meru is inside Arusha National Park which will allow you to see animals like buffalo, white colobus monkey, giraffe, Baboons, Warthogs and a number of Bird life. picnic lunch with you , you will start the ascend to the first hut Miriakamba Hut, The walk takes 4-5 hours through the dense rain forest.
Dinner and overnight at Miriakamba Hut.
Day 2: Hike Miriakampa Hut to Saddle Hut, afternoon hike up little Meru.
Here start to walk from Miriakampa Hut to the saddle below Little Meru is a steep sustained climb all the way. Starting through beautiful and lush montane forest, the path continues beyond the halfway point of Elephant Back Ridge and carries on uphill through the giant heather and other moorland vegetation to reach Saddle Hut for lunch. In the afternoon, you can make the short climb to the nearby summit of Little Meru (3,820 m / 12,533 ft) for superb views. It takes about 1 hour to walk up and 30 minutes to walk down. The ascent is 1,056 m / 3,465 ft.
Day 3: Hike Saddle hut to the Summit down to Saddle hut.
After a breakfast 08h00 am, start to climb to summit which is 4566m. The ascend takes 5 to 6 hours, you will be able to see Mount Kilimanjaro from top as well as Arusha town and Meru Crater but only if the sky is clear. After a short celebration descend to saddle hut for lunch, and then proceed to Miriakamba.

Day 4: Hike Saddle hut to Momela Gate to Arusha.
After breakfast 08h00 you will keep descending towards the gate where you will meet a transferring driver. At the gate you will sign out and obtain your Mount Meru certificate then you will drive back to Arusha where you will have a long and warm shower after a tiring mountain. The rest of the day is free to rest while enjoying a glass of wine, relax at the pool or celebrate your achievement.
Dinner and overnight at your located lodge/hotel.
Day 5: Departure from Tanzania.
After breakfast/arranged time, you will be transferred to Kilimanjaro Airport for your next destination.
