Package for 9 Days Tanzania safari and trekking will leads you to more than three Tanzania parks as shown. The tour will also take you to Serengeti National Park with the massive wilderness of over 14500km where every day brings new adventure as well as a new land scape. The same safari will take you to Ngorongoro crater as well as the Ngorongoro conservation Area in Tanzania, this one features one of the highest concentration of game as well as a large population of carnivores and predators in Africa. In these parks, you will witness the amazing African Wildlife species. The tour will take you to Tarangire National Park which has the greatest concentration of the game in Tanzania. Lake Manyara is also part of the safari and you will get a chance to view many water animals and birds. You will get chance to view lots of wildlife including; elephants, lions, zebras, antelopes, birds, and many more. The tour will finally take you to Lake Natron where you will be able to trek mount Oldonyo Lengai bofore you head back to Arusha.

DAY 01 :Arrival Tanzania- At JRO airport.

Welcome to Tanzania.On arrival at Kilimanjaro Airport you’ll meet your company arranged driver who will transfer you to Arusha city to Green Mountain Hotel for dinner and overnight. Our driver will display your name on an Mupana Tours signboard. These procedures ensure that you are picked up by the correct driver, rather than by some of the airport taxi drivers who are looking for business. You’ll get a chance for Safari briefing/introduction before your dinner.

 DAY 02: Arusha to Tarangire National Park

Distance: 130km

Non – game viewing time : 2 – 3 hrs

After breakfast from your requested accommodation, you will start your safari to southwest through Maasai steppe land to Tarangire National Park with picnic Lunch boxes.You will spend hours for the day game viewing in Tarangire, viewing some of Tanzania’s largest populations of elephant and enjoying the diverse scenery, including the dramatic baobab trees that are so typical of the park. This park boasts a high concentration of animals, including elephant, zebra, eland, and wildebeest and plenty of predators.Picnic Lunch will be served at the picnic site where you will have a nice view of Tarangire River overlooking down the valley where most of the animals will be gathering drinking from the river. After Lunch you will proceed with game drives until evening when you will start drive to Karatu for Dinner and Overnight at Twiga Campsite.

DAY 03: Tarangire to Lake Manyara National Park 

Distance: 190km

Non – game viewing time : 3 – 4 hrs

After breakfast from Twiga Campsite you head to Lake Manyara. Lake Manyara National Park offers breathtaking views and a large variety of habitats. Acacia woodlands, water forests, baobab strewn cliffs, algae-streaked hot springs, swamps and the lake itself. And thanks to this the small Park is able to support a large number of animal species and incredible bird life. Manyara has the largest concentration of baboons anywhere in the world and the lions here are also renowned for their tree climbing. During late afternoon you will drive back to Twiga Campsite for Dinner and Overnight.

DAY 04 : Lake Manyara to Lake Eyasi

Distance: 110km

Walking Tour

After breakfast you will heard to Lake Eyasi is a very scenic soda lake found on the southern border of the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. This less visited lake lies at the base of the Eyasi escarpment on the western rift valley wall. This afternoon you will be introduced to the extraordinary people who belong to an indigenous tribe known as the ‘Hadzabe’ (hunter-gatherer Bushmen). The tribe inhabits the shores of Lake Eyasi as do the Nilotic-speaking Datoga tribe. You will visit these tribes, which will include a visit to their homesteads, learn about their way of life, animal tracking, medicinal plants, and much more. Some wildlife and a wide range of bird species can be viewed during walks around the lake, which can be arranged. Late afternoon drive to Karatu for Dinner and Overnight at Twiga Campsite.

DAY 05:Lake Eyasi to Ngorongoro crater

Distance: 190km

Non – game viewing time : 3 – 4 hrs

After breakfast to your campsite the tour will depart to Ngorongoro Conservation Area, You will descend over 600 meters into the crater to view wildlife. Supported by a year round water supply and fodder, the Ngorongoro National Park supports a vast variety of animals, which include herds of wildebeest, zebra, buffalo, eland, warthog, hippo, and giant African elephants. Another big draw card to this picturesque national park, is it’s dense population of predators, which include lions, hyenas, jackals, cheetahs and the ever-elusive leopard, which sometimes requires a trained eye to spot. You will visit Lake Magadi, a large but shallow alkaline lake in the southwestern corner, which is one of the main features of the crater. DAY 06 : Ngorongoro crater to Serengeti National Park 

Distance: 145km

Early morning breakfast the tour depart to Serengeti National Park. You will stopover at Olduvai Gorge, boasting with a history dating back to the dawn of time. It was here, that the anthropologists Dr. Lois and Mary Leakey discovered the skulls of ‘Nutcracker Man’ and ‘Handy Man’, both very significant links in the chain of human evolution. Do an evening games drive in Serengeti . During evening after game drive you will start drive back to Serengeti Seronera Campsite for Dinner and Overnight.

DAY 07 : Full Day Serengeti Game Drive

Full day game drive in Serengeti after breakfast game viewing drive along the Sogore River Circuit, which loops into the plains south of the Seronera River, and which is good for possible lion, Thomson gazelle, topic, ostrich and cheetah sightings. The visitor’s center not far from the Serengeti Seronera Lodge and public campsites is well worth a visit after the morning’s game drive. This nicely designed center, offers some interesting wildlife displays as well as a gift shop selling information leaflets and maps of the area. The center also has a shop where cold drinks and snacks can be purchased, as well as a picnic area and information trail up and around a nearby kopje. You will enjoy a relaxed picnic lunch at the center in the shade of the giant acacia trees. Dinner and Overnight at Serengeti Seronera Campsite.

DAY 08: Serengeti National Park to Lake Natron

Distance: 300km

Non – game viewing time : 4 – 5 hrs

After an early breakfast, Do a morning game drive en route towards north Serengeti. Check out of the park at Klein’s gate then transfer to Lake Natron for an early dinner and over night. Go for an evening lake Natron walk for sunset if time permits. Dinner and overnight at Allocated accommodation as requested.

DAY 09: Lake Natron to Arusha

Distance: 136 Km

OLDONYO LENGAI TREKKING: Trekking this volcanic active mountain takes place at night.Ascending starts at 00:00 they get to the top at 6:00am.Descending before it gets hot and so reflective on the volcanic ash.Enjoy a nice breath taking and hair raising view of the gorges and surrounding volcanic features of the mountain.Get to know the ritual sites along the mountain trekking route. Early afternoon after your lunch start drive back to Arusha to your hotel or airport drop off because we will reach the city at early evening.
