DAY 01 :Arrival Tanzania- At JRO airport.

Welcome to Tanzania.On arrival at Kilimanjaro Airport you’ll meet your company arranged driver who will transfer you to Arusha city to Mount Meru Hotel for dinner and overnight. Our driver will display your name on an Mupana Tours signboard. These procedures ensure that you are picked up by the correct driver, rather than by some of the airport taxi drivers who are looking for business. You’ll get a chance for Safari briefing/introduction before your dinner.

DAY 02: Arusha to Tarangire National Park

Distance: 130km

Non – game viewing time : 3 – 4 hrs

After breakfast the tour will departs. First stop is Arusha Town for any last minute purchases before you head off on safari. Afterwards you head towards the Tarangire National Park for a game drive with picnic lunch at the park. Tarangire is well known for its huge elephant population and baobab trees. It forms the center of an annual migratory cycle that includes up to 3000 elephants, 25,000 wildebeest and 30,000 zebras with many birds species.Later afternoon you start drive back to Karatu to Ngorongoro Forest Tented Lodge for Dinner and Overnight.

DAY 03: Tarangire to Lake Manyara National Park

Distance: 50km

Non – game viewing time: 1 hrs

After breakfast the tour will departs to Lake Manyara. Lake Manyara National Park offers breathtaking views and a large variety of habitats. Acacia woodlands, water forests, baobab strewn cliffs, algae-streaked hot springs, swamps and the lake itself. And thanks to this the small Park is able to support a large number of animal species and incredible bird life. Manyara has the largest concentration of baboons anywhere in the world and the lions here are also renowned for their tree climbing. Later afternoon you start drive back to Karatu to Ngorongoro Forest Tented Lodge for Dinner and Overnight.

DAY 04: Manyara  to Lake Eyasi National Park.

Non game-viewing travel time: 2½ hours
Distance: 110 km

After breakfast the tour will depart to the shores of Lake Eyasi. Lake Eyasi is a very scenic soda lake found on the southern border of the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. This less visited lake lies at the base of the Eyasi escarpment on the western rift valley wall. This afternoon you will be introduced to the extraordinary people who belong to an indigenous tribe known as the ‘Hadzabe’ (hunter-gatherer bushmen). The tribe inhabits the shores of Lake Eyasi as do the Nilotic-speaking Datoga tribe. You will visit these tribes, which will include a visit to their homesteads, learn about their way of life, animal tracking, medicinal plants, and much more. Some wildlife and a wide range of bird species can be viewed during walks around the lake. Later afternoon you start drive back to Karatu to Ngorongoro Forest Tented Lodge for Dinner and Overnight.

DAY 05:Lake Eyasi to Serengeti National Park

Distance: 170km 

Non – game viewing time: 2 – 3 hrs

After breakfast from your lodge you’ll start safari to Serengeti National Park, via the beautiful high lying farmland of Karatu and the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Leaving the highlands behind, we descend into the heart of wild Africa – the Serengeti National Park – with its endless plains, rolling into the distance as far as the eye can see. Then heard to the central park area, known as the Seronera area, one of the richest wildlife habitats in the park, featuring the Seronera River, which provides a valuable water source to this area and therefore attracts wildlife well representative of most of the Serengeti’s species. Arrive in time for lunch and enjoy an afternoon game drive in the Serengeti national park. Early evening you start drive back to Serengeti Sopa Lodge for Dinner and Overnight.

DAY 06:Full Day Game Drive Serengeti.

After breakfast, you’ll have a full day game drive in Central Serengeti. Apart from the large mammals, Serengeti is also home to gaudy agama lizards; Rock hyraxes scuffle around the surfaces of the park’s isolated granite kopjes. Wide varieties of dung beetle were found, and around 500 bird species have been recorded ranging from the outsized ostrich and bizarre secretary bird of the open grassland, to the black eagles that soar effortlessly above the Lobo Hills. Early evening drive back to Serengeti Sopa Lodge for Dinner and Overnight.

DAY 07: Full Day Game Drive in Serengeti.

After breakfast you will have another full day game drive in Central Serengeti National Park where you have to take another direction depending with Migration taken place at central area. Western central Serengeti migration of wildebeest and zebra – calving period in Dec up to Feb. Many wildebeest and Zebra found in one area giving birth while predators like Lion, hyena,leopard and other predators are highly found in an area. After extensive game drive you will drive back to Serengeti Sopa Lodge for Dinner and Overnight.

DAY 08 :Serengeti to Ngorongoro Crater.

Distance: 187 Km

Non – game viewing time: 3 – 4 hrs

Today after early breakfast you will head to the Ngorongoro crater rim, your driver will take you via the scenic Masai kopjes and through “villimasaba” which translate seven hills, and this is indeed a path less traveled with so much to learn and discover. Seeing Lions resting on kopjes like in pride rocks would be a bonus and cheetah brothers on their hunting mission or mom and babies resting on termites mounts. These are but a few of the past encounters of our safaris on this scenic route. We plan to arrive to Nabi check in gate to Ngorongoro conservation area in time for Lunch. While this is a three hours route we plan to take up to five hours as there is so much to see on the way. If your interested you will visit Maasai Boma to know more about their culture and day to day activities.

DAY 09 : Ngorongoro Crater to Arusha.

Distance: 167km 

Non – game viewing time: 2 – 3 hrs

After breakfast at the lodge, you will descend over 600 meters into the crater to view wildlife for a half day’s tour. Supported by a year round water supply and fodder, the Ngorongoro Crater supports a vast variety of animals, which include herds of wildebeest, zebra, buffalo, eland, warthog, hippo, and giant African elephants. Another big draw card to this picturesque national park, is it’s dense population of predators, which include lions, hyenas, jackals, cheetahs and the ever-elusive leopard you will visit Lake Magadi, a large but shallow alkaline lake in the south western corner, which is one of the main features of the crater. A large number of flamingos, hippos and other water birds can usually been seen here. During late afternoon after extensive game drive you will head back to Arusha to your hotel for Dinner and Overnight.

DAY 10 : Departure from Arusha Kilimanjaro Airport.
