The tour starts and ends in Arusha, The tour will also take you to Serengeti national Park with the massive wilderness of over 14500km where every day brings new adventure as well as a new land scape. The same safari will take you to Ngorongoro crater as well as the Ngorongoro conservation Area in Tanzania, this one features one of the highest concentration of game as well as a large population of carnivores and predators in Africa. In these parks, you will witness the amazing African Wildlife species. The tour will finally take you to Tarangire national park which has the greatest concentration of the game in Tanzania. Lake Manyara is also part of the safari and you will get a chance to view many water animals and birds. Day 1 :Arrival Tanzania- At JRO airport.

Distance: 43km

Time:45 Minutes

Welcome Tanzania. Arrival to JRO, meet your professional Safari Guide and Driver, who would transfer you to Mt. village Serena Lodge (or another lodge of the same standard depending on availability) for Dinner and overnight.

Day 2:  Arusha to Lake Manyara

Distance: 101km

Non – game viewing time: 3 – 4 hrs

Have breakfast today and after drive from Arusha to Lake Manyara National Park, arrive in time for lunch and after proceed for a game drive with in the park where you will view many animals including; the zebras, giraffes, birds, hippos, etc. later return to the lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 3:Lake Manyara to Tarangire National Park.

Distance: 37.4km 

Non – game viewing time: 30Min – 1 hrs

After breakfast you are off to Tarangire National Park about 1 Hour and 30 minutes away. The Major attraction of this park is elephants and unique landscape, during the dry season thousands of animals migrate to the Tarangire National Park from Manyara National Park. Herds of up to 300 elephants scratch the dry river bed for underground streams, while migratory wildebeest, zebra, buffalo, impala, gazelle, hartebeest and eland crowd the shrinking lagoons. It’s the greatest concentration of wildlife outside the Serengeti ecosystem – a smorgasbord for predators – and the one place in Tanzania where dry-country antelope such as the stately fringe-eared Oryx and peculiar long-necked gerenuk are regularly observed.

Day 4: Tarangire  to Lake Eyasi National Park.

Non game-viewing travel time: 2½ hours
Distance: 110 km

After breakfast you will drive to the shores of Lake Eyasi. Lake Eyasi is a very scenic soda lake found on the southern border of the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. This less visited lake lies at the base of the Eyasi escarpment on the western rift valley wall. This afternoon you will be introduced to the extraordinary people who belong to an indigenous tribe known as the ‘Hadzabe’ (hunter-gatherer bushmen). The tribe inhabits the shores of Lake Eyasi as do the Nilotic-speaking Datoga tribe. You will visit these tribes, which will include a visit to their homesteads, learn about their way of life, animal tracking, medicinal plants, and much more. Some wildlife and a wide range of bird species can be viewed during walks around the lake, which can be arranged.

Day 5:Lake Eyasi to Serengeti National Park

Distance: 170km 

Non – game viewing time: 2 – 3 hrs

After breakfast head to Serengeti National Park with your box lunch  and stopover at Olduvai Gorge, boasting with history dating back to the dawn of time. It was here, that the anthropologists Drs. Lois and Mary Leakey discovered the skulls of the famous ‘Nutcracker Man” and ‘Handy Man’, both very significant links in the chain of human evolution. Leaving the highlands behind, you descend into the heart of wild Africa – the Serengeti National Park – with its endless plains, rolling into the distance as far as the eye can see. You will do a late game drive en route to the lodge. Dinner and overnight at Mbugani Tented Camp.

Day 6-7:Full Day Game Drive Serengeti.

(Central Serengeti and Western Serengeti for Wildebeest Migration )

This morning you have an option of going out whole day with box lunch, or doing early morning and later evening game viewing with 2 hours and a half each game viewing and have a day at Leisure or leaving by 7am after breakfast and coming back for Lunch at 12:30am and leisure afternoon and out again by 4:00pm for a two and half hour drive. Your choice would be determined by the location of the great migration and the associated cats the great migration is influenced by distribution of food and water/rains.  Possible highlights while in Central Serengeti would be a great migrations, lions, leopard, hippos etc, all meals and accommodation at Mbugani Tented Camp.

Day 8 :Serengeti to Ngorongoro Crater.

Distance: 187.7km 

Non – game viewing time: 3 – 4 hrs

Today after early breakfast you will head to the Ngorongoro crater rim, your driver will take you via the scenic Masai kopjes and through “villimasaba” which translate seven hills, and this is indeed a path less traveled with so much to learn and discover. Seeing Lions resting on kopjes like in pride rocks would be a bonus and cheetah brothers on their hunting mission or mom and babies resting on termites mounts. These are but a few of the past encounters of our safaris on this scenic route. We plan to arrive to Nabi check in gate to Ngorongoro conservation area in time for Lunch. While this is a three hours route we plan to take up to five hours as there is so much to see on the way. Lunch, dinner and overnight at Ngorongoro Rhino Lodge.

Day 9 : Ngorongoro Crater to Arusha.

Distance: 167km 

Non – game viewing time: 2 – 3 hrs

After breakfast at the lodge, you will descend over 600 meters into the crater to view wildlife for a half day’s tour. Supported by a year round water supply and fodder, the Ngorongoro Crater supports a vast variety of animals, which include herds of wildebeest, zebra, buffalo, eland, warthog, hippo, and giant African elephants. Another big draw card to this picturesque national park, is it’s dense population of predators, which include lions, hyenas, jackals, cheetahs and the ever-elusive leopard you will visit Lake Magadi, a large but shallow alkaline lake in the south western corner, which is one of the main features of the crater. A large number of flamingos, hippos and other water birds can usually been seen here. Late evening you will head back to Arusha to your hotel.

Day 10 : Departure from Arusha Kilimanjaro Airport.

Distance: 43km

Time:45 Minutes

After breakfast/lunch according to your flight schedule your drive will pick you from your hotel to Kilimanjaro Air port for your next destination.
