Our 5-day Tanzania Wildlife safaris, tours, travel and trekking packages, which specifically include 2 nights in Serengeti National Park, have been designed to offer you more time in the Serengeti to witness the wildebeest migration. You will experience the excitement of game viewing in some of the most spectacular national wildlife game parks in Africa.
This unforgettable Tanzanian safari journey will take you to the Ngorongoro Crater, featuring one of the highest concentrations of game in Africa. Here you will witness an amazing spectacle of African wildlife – inside a self-contained world teeming with animals. The tour will further take you to the Serengeti National Park, into the heart of wild Africa, a massive wilderness of 14500 square km, where everyday brings a new landscape and a new adventure. You will visit the Lake Manyara National Park, one of Tanzania’s most dramatically located wildlife areas, consisting of a shallow but huge soda lake, at the foot of the Great Rift Valley’s western escarpment.
Day 0: Arrival at Kilimanjaro Airport to Arusha

On arrival at Kilimanjaro Airport our teams will great and pick you and transfer to Arusha city to Green Mountain Hotel as requested for dinner and overnight. You will get chance for briefing and introduction about your safari.

Day 1: Arusha to Lake Manyara National Park.
Distance: 50km
Non – game viewing time : 1 – 2 hrs
After breakfast to your hotel at Arusha the tour departs to Lake Manyara. Lake Manyara National Park is one of Tanzania’s most dramatically located wildlife areas, consisting of a massive but shallow soda lake (covering two-thirds of the park) at the foot of the Great Rift Valley’s western escarpment. The park’s varied habitat attracts a wide variety of African animals as Buffalo, Wildebeest, Zebra, Hippo including one of Africa’s largest concentrations of elephants, Manyara’s famous tree-climbing lions, as well as large flocks of flamingos, attracted by the algae in the lake.

Day 2: Lake Manyara to Serengeti National Park.
Distance: 145km
Non – game viewing time: 3 – 4 hrs
After breakfast, depart for Serengeti National Park, via the beautiful high lying farmland of Karatu and the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Leaving the highlands behind, you descend into the heart of wild Africa – the Serengeti National Park – with its endless plains, rolling into the distance as far as the eye can see. Then heard to the central park area, known as the Seronera area, one of the richest wildlife habitats in the park, featuring the Seronera River, which provides a valuable water source to this area and therefore attracts wildlife well representative of most of the Serengeti’s species. Arrive in time for lunch and enjoy an afternoon game drive in the Serengeti national park. Drive to your camp for Dinner and overnight.

Day 3: Full day Serengeti National Park Game Drive.
In this day you will enjoy yourself by having a full day with morning and afternoon game drives to explore the plains most famous Park, Over a million wildebeest and about 200,000 zebras flow south from the northern hills to the southern plains. This location offers the most expansive game viewing in Tanzania. From predators to prey, great herds of grazing herbivores to tactically cunning packs of carnivores, life on the plains of the Serengeti can best be defined as a complete “circle of life.” A photographic dream unfolds before your eyes as giraffes and elephants feast on tasty shrubbery, whilst impalas, gazelles and buffalos dance watchfully through the plains as to not become the latest meal for on-looking lions, cheetahs and hyenas. Spend the day taking in the spectacle of the famous wildebeest migration. This annual migration through the Serengeti is one of the safari highlights of Africa. Return to camp for Dinner and Overnight.

Day 4: Serengeti National Park to Ngorongoro Crater.

Early in the morning game drive and after depart to Ngorongoro Conservation area. You will stopover at Olduvai Gorge, boasting with a history dating back to the dawn of time. It was here, that the anthropologists Drs. Lois and Mary Leakey discovered the skulls of ‘Nutcracker Man’ and ‘Handy Man’, both very significant links in the chain of human evolution . Late afternoon transfer to your campsite for Dinner and Overnight.

Day 5: Ngorongoro Crater to Arusha.
Distance: 210km
Non – game viewing time: 3 – 4 hrs
After an early breakfast you will descend over 600 meters into the crater to view wildlife. The Ngorongoro Crater is the largest, unbroken and unfolded caldera in the world and it has an unbelievable diversity of wildlife. In addition to zebras and wildebeests, you might also spot the rare black rhino and other members of the “Big Five” – lion, elephant, buffalo, rhino and leopard. The crater is also home to other animals such as hyenas, water bucks, bush bucks, eland and more than 500 bird species. After an extensive game drive and a picnic lunch you will leave the caldera in the early afternoon and drive back to Arusha, where you will arrive in the early evening to your hotel or drive off to Airport.
