Our 4-day Tanzania Wildlife Safaris, tours, travel and trekking packages, specifically include the Ngorongoro Crater .It is one of our more popular safari tours and is most frequently booked as an add-on by Kilimanjaro climbers or Zanzibar divers. You will experience the excitement of an Tanzania wildlife safari to some of the most spectacular national game parks in East Africa, all teeming with wildlife animals.
This unforgettable tour will take you to the Lake Manyara National Park,one of Tanzania’s most dramatically located wildlife areas, consisting of a shallow but huge soda lake, at the foot of the Great Rift Valley’s western escarpment. The size of this national park makes it perfect for a one-day game drive, and is famous for it’s unique tree-climbing lions.Your African safari tour will also take you to the Ngorongoro Crater and the Ngorongoro Conservation Area in Tanzania, featuring one of the highest concentrations of game and arguably the densest population of predators and carnivores in Africa. Here you will witness an amazing spectacle of African wildlife – inside a self-contained world teeming with animals. Finally, your African safari tour will also take you to the Tarangire National Park, which features some of the greatest concentration of game in Tanzania – second only to the Ngorongoro Crater – but less crowded and unspoiled – possessing a wild and unkempt beauty.
Day 0: Arrival at Kilimanjaro Airport to Arusha

On arrival at Kilimanjaro Airport our teams will great and pick you and transfer to Arusha city to Green Mountain Hotel as requested for dinner and overnight. You will get chance for briefing and introduction about your safari.

Day 1: Arusha to Lake Manyara National park
Non game-viewing travel time: 2 ½ hours
Distance: 130 km
After breakfast, you will leave Arusha and drive via the town of Mto wa Mbu to the Lake Manyara National Park. This park with its shallow alkaline lake stretches along the base of the Rift Valley Escarpment. Lake Manyara attracts thousands of birds, including huge flocks of flamingos. Other animals in the park include buffaloes, elephants, hippos and Maasai giraffes as well as troops of boisterous baboons and monkeys in the forests. The park once became famous for tree climbing lions and if you are lucky to spot them you will be amused by the site of these animals lounging on branches in the acacia trees. After extensive game drive in the park you will drive to Mto Wa Mbu village, where you will have your Dinner and Overnight on a campsite.

Day 2: Lake Manyara National Park to Ngorongoro Crater
Non game-viewing travel time: 2 hours
Distance: 60km
Rise and shine! After an early breakfast at your campsite, you will travel down a precipitous trail into the crater.You will descend over 600 meters into the crater to view wildlife. Supported by a year round water supply and fodder.The Ngorongoro crater has grass plains and acacia forests are home to almost all the species of animals found in the East African Savannah. In only a few hours you might see all of the “Big Five” – lion, elephant, buffalo, rhino and leopard. After an extensive game drive and a picnic lunch inside the crater, you will leave the Ngorongoro Conservation Area and travel to Mto wa Mbu, where you will spend the night in a tent on a campsite.

Day 3: Mto WA Mbu to Tarangire National Park
Non game-viewing travel time: 2 hours
Distance: 125 km
After a breakfast, you will travel southwest towards the Tarangire National Park. The park has a diversity of landscapes including grass, acacia woodlands and forests and it is especially popular for its huge elephant herds and animals gathering at the river and swamps. Animals range from swarms of yellow breasted lovebirds to kudus, buffaloes, giraffes, zebras and impalas. Predators include lions, leopards and hyenas, while wild dogs are rare. In the late afternoon you will leave the park to travel to a nearby campsite, where you will spend the night in tents. Dinner and Overnight to your campsite.

Day 4: Mto wa Mbu to Arusha
Distance: 140 km
Non game-viewing travel time: 3 hours
After breakfast you will take a walking/biking tour of the villages and taste local buffet lunch. Our buffet is prepared by local women and served in hygienic ways at different places from a family house to under the shadow of banana plantation or Acacia forest. After early breakfast you head back to Arusha to your Hotel for Dinner and Overnight or airport drop off.
