This package of 10 – days trekking tour takes you to the diverse landscapes of the Ngorongoro Crater Highlands – Ngorongoro, Empakai, Naiyobi, Oldonyo Lengai, Lake Natron and Serengeti National Park. The track will give you, above all, the greatest sceneries on earth you will never imagine they exist. It is such a breathtaking hiking through the wide grass and mountainous countryside as well as thick mountain forest and the volcanic stamped Savannah landscape of the Rift Valley. Next to the unique nature and animal sightings, this walk allows a deep insight into the daily routines of the Masai.
DAY 01: Arrival at Kilimanjaro Airport to Arusha

Welcome to Tanzania. On arrival at Kilimanjaro Airport you’ll meet your company arranged driver who will transfer you to Arusha city to Green Mountain Hotel for dinner and overnight. Our driver will display your group name on an signboard. These procedures ensure that you are picked up by the correct driver, rather than by some of the airport taxi drivers who are looking for business. You’ll get a chance for Safari briefing/introduction before your dinner.

DAY 02: Ngorongoro Crater
Distance: 190 Km
Non – game viewing time: 3 – 4 hrs
After breakfast to your hotel the tour will depart to the Ngorongoro in one of our comfortable safari vehicles with a walking safari team staff who are prepared serve you on the trek. You will set off for Ngorongoro Crater, and descend onto the Crater floor for game viewing. Ascend to the rim. Animal are known to roam by night around the campsite; including: elephants, buffalo, hyenas, porcupine, and others. Dinner and Overnight at Ngorongoro Simba Campsite.

DAY 03: Ngorongoro Simba-Nainokanoka Village
After breakfast, you’ll depart to Nainokanoka Village where you will walk up to Olmoti Crater and view the Munge River waterfalls and the crater. The crater is the source of Munge River which drains its water into the Ngorongoro Crater, and is a 45-60 minute walk from the camp. Dinner and Overnight at Nainokanoka Special Campsite.

DAY 04: Nainokanoka to Empakaai Crater trek
After breakfast you will pack your luggage on donkeys for Nainokanoka to Empakaai Crater trek (5-6 hours walking also called “Maasai Land Rovers”. Accompanied with Maasai escorts you start your trek through the beautiful Maasai landscape with indigenous villages. Here your guide will explain about the culture of the Maasai people and Tanzania in general. You will pass the Elbulbul depression where the Maasai livestock mix-graze with herds of Zebras and wildebeests. This area is rich in bird life. Dinner and Overnight at Empakai Special Campsite.

DAY 05: Empakaai Crater to Nayobi Village
After breakfast you’ll proceed trekking to Empakaai Crater to Nayobi Village (4-5 hours walking). It’s worth getting up very early so you don`t miss the beautiful panoramic sunrise above the lake in Empakaai Crater. After breakfast and loading the donkeys we start our 7 km trek on the rim of the crater, heading for Nayobi Village. Here we fill our water bottles and have lunch. After this break you’ll have your Dinner and Overnight at our Special Campsite under the acacia trees.

DAY 0 6: Nayobi Village to Lake Natron
After breakfast you discover another beautiful landscape while walking down to the floor of the Rift Valley Nayobi Village to Lake Natron (3-4 hours walking). From here we will be able to see Lake Natron, Oldonyo Lengai and the vast Serengeti plains. The car will take you to the Lake Natron camp site where you’ll have your Dinner and Overnight.

DAY 0 7: Full Day walking at Lake Natron
After breakfast you will have full day to visit Lake Natron areas like archaeologist site and in the lake for birds watching. For birds watching you will take a walk for Morning and Evening hours, you will be able to see many birds especially flamingos and other bird’s species. For archaeologist you will be able to visit the place at once in the morning you’ll walk to the Hominid Footprint believed to be over 100,000 years old.

DAY 08: Lake Natron to Serengeti National Park
Distance: 135 Km
Non – game viewing time: 3 – 4 hrs
After breakfast the tour will depart to Serengeti National Park leave Natron to Serengeti via Loliondo and Waso through Kleins gate. One the way you can observe animals like Antelopes, Wildebeest, Wild dogs and Zebras. During late afternoon after extensive game drive you’ll return to your campsite for Dinner and Overnight at Serengeti Seronera Campsite.

DAY 09: Full Day Game Drive in Serengeti National Park.
Full game drive at Northern Serengeti to Mara River in northern Serengeti affords the most dramatic river crossings. Fierce and deep, cliff-sided and rain-swollen, the river takes an enormous toll of the exhausted and terrified wild cattle that surge through its torrential flow, some drowning helplessly, foundering in narrow defiles, floundering in mud, falling victim to crocodile, staggering, exhausted to dry land and often, in confusion, returning to the same scene of their ordeal allowing the cycle to repeat itself. Early evening you’ll drive to Serengeti Seronera Campsite for Dinner and overnight.

DAY 10: Serengeti National Park to Arusha.
Distance: 135 Km
Non – game viewing time: 3 – 4 hrs
After early morning breakfast you will have Serengeti morning game drive where you might be able to see predators hunting other animals, and then after you will proceed your safari head back to Arusha city to your hotel or airport drop off.
