This package of 6- days walking safari takes you to the diverse landscapes of the Ngorongoro Crater Highlands – Ngorongoro, Empakai, Naiyobi, Oldonyo Lengai and Lake Natron. The track will give you, above all, the greatest sceneries on earth you will never imagine they exist. It is such a breathtaking hiking through the wide grass and mountainous countryside as well as thick mountain forest and the volcanic stamped Savannah landscape of the Rift Valley. Next to the unique nature and animal sightings, this walk allows a deep insight into the daily routines of the Maasai.
DAY 0: Arrival at Kilimanjaro Airport to Arusha

Welcome to Tanzania. On arrival at Kilimanjaro Airport you’ll meet your company arranged driver who will transfer you to Arusha city to Green Mountain Hotel for dinner and overnight. Our driver will display your group name on an signboard. These procedures ensure that you are picked up by the correct driver, rather than by some of the airport taxi drivers who are looking for business. You’ll get a chance for Safari briefing/introduction before your dinner.

DAY 01: Arusha to Ngorongoro Crater.
Distance: 190 Km
Non – game viewing time: 3 – 4 hrs
After breakfast the tour will depart to the Ngorongoro Crater you’ll descend over 600 meters into the crater to view wildlife. Supported by a year round water supply and fodder, the Ngorongoro conservation Area supports a vast variety of animals, which include herds of wildebeest, zebra, buffalo, eland, warthog, hippo and giant African elephants. Another big draw card to this picturesque national park, is it’s dense population of predators, which include lions, hyenas, jackals, cheetahs and the ever-elusive leopard, which sometimes requires a trained eye to spot. You’ll visit Lake Magadi, a large but shallow alkaline lake in the southwestern corner, which is one of the main features of the crater. A large number of flamingos, hippos and other water birds can usually been seen here. Late afternoon after extensive game drive you’ll drive back to Nainokanoka Campsite for Dinner and Overnight.

DAY 02: Nainokanoka to Empakai.
After breakfast in your campsite, you’ll start climbing through the forest and descend into the shallow grass Olmoti crater with lunch box for a half day walking in the Crater. At 12hrs ascend the crater on walking for lunch in Nainokanoka Camp, after lunch drive in your 4wd vehicle to Empakai Crater rim for dinner and overnight in the campsite.

DAY 03: Empakai to Naiyobi.
After breakfast in the camp, you will start walking down from the east rim to the empakai crater floor. It is a pristine forested crater with no roads; take an easy walk to the lake where sometimes-huge flocks of flamingo birds can be seen. Lunch on Empakai crater rim, after lunch walk along the rim to Naiyobi village. Donkeys are one of the crew accompanied with you, Dinner and Overnight, Naiyobi village.

DAY 04: Naiyobi to Oldonyo Lengai
After breakfast in the camp, you will proceed with your walking with your packed lunch en route to the base of the Mountain of God hence the name to the Maasai Campsite for Dinner and Overnight. At night hours start ascending the Mountain of God, an active volcanic mountain, its hot, and arduous ascend to its menacing crater. Feel strength, you can make it. The guides will advice time to leave from the peak and descend to the base for breakfast.

DAY 05: Oldonyo Lengai to Lake Natron.
After breakfast you will have full day to visit Lake Natron areas like archeologist site and in the lake for birds watching. For birds watching you will take a walk for Morning and Evening hours, you will be able to see many birds especially flamingos and other bird’s species. For archeologist you will be able to visit the place at once in the morning you’ll walk to the Huminid Footprint believed to be over 100,000 years old.

DAY 06: Lake Natron to Arusha
Distance: 136 Km
Non – game viewing time: 3 – 4 hrs
After breakfast the tour will depart to Arusha to your hotel where you can relax on pool or airport drop off because you will arrival at Arusha early afternoon it depend with your departure scheduler.
