All our 10 Days Tanzania family safari and Zanzibar beach holiday specifically include the Ngorongoro Conservation Area and the world famous Ngorongoro Crater in Tanzania. Lake Manyara National Park is one of Tanzania’s most dramatically located wildlife areas, consisting of a shallow but huge soda lake, located at the foot of the Great Rift Valley’s western escarpment. The size of the park makes it perfect for a one-day game drive and is notably famous for it’s tree-climbing lions.

This safari will also take you to the Serengeti National Park, a massive wilderness of 14500 square km, where every day brings a new landscape and a new adventure. Also the tour will take you to Ngorongoro Crater featuring one of the highest concentrations of game and arguably the densest population of predators and carnivores in Africa .Finally this tour will lead you to Zanzibar -where you will be able to do more than 2 activities before you head back to your lovely country.

DAY 01: Arrival at Kilimanjaro Airport to Arusha.

Time: 45 Minutes

Welcome to Tanzania.On arrival at Kilimanjaro Airport you’ll meet your company arranged driver who will transfer you to Arusha city to Mount Meru Hotel for dinner and overnight. Our driver will display your name on an Mupana Tours signboard. These procedures ensure that you are picked up by the correct driver, rather than by some of the airport taxi drivers who are looking for business. You’ll get a chance for Safari & Zanzibar briefing/introduction before your dinner.

DAY 02: Arusha to Tarangire National Park.

Distance: 130km

Non – game viewing time: 3 – 4 hrs

After breakfast the tour will departs. First stop is Arusha Town for any last minute purchases before you head off on safari. Afterwards you head towards the Tarangire National Park for a game drive with picnic lunch at the park. Tarangire is well known for its huge elephant population and baobab trees. It forms the centre of an annual migratory cycle that includes up to 3000 elephants, 25,000 wildebeest and 30,000 zebras. After extensive game drive you will start drive back to Karatu to Ngorongoro Forest Tented Lodge for Dinner and Overnight.

DAY 03: Tarangire to Lake Manyara National Park.

Distance: 50 Km

Non – game viewing time : 1 hrs

After tasty breakfast from your hotel the tour will departs to Lake Manyara National Park. Lake Manyara National Park offers breathtaking views and a large variety of habitats. Acacia woodlands, water forests, baobab strewn cliffs, algae-streaked hot springs, swamps and the lake itself. And thanks to this the small Park is able to support a large number of animal species and incredible bird life. Manyara has the largest concentration of baboons anywhere in the world, also include Buffalo, Elephant Wildebeest, Zebra, Waterbuck, Warthog, Impala and also Manyara health population lion are famous for their tree-climbing antics.

Lake Manyara National Park has over 300 bird species including Eurasian migrant birds, acacia associated birds, raptors, and 3 endangered Tanzanian species: Rufous-tailed weaver, Ashy starlings and Black-collared Lovebird. The bush clups on the edge of the floodplain is occupied by groups of Long-tailed fiscal, the rare Pangani Long claw. The birds in the Lake Manyara forest are: Silvery-cheeked Hornbill, Narina Trogon, Crowned Hornbill, Schawlow’s Turaco, Emerald Cuckoo, Crowned Eagle and ground dwelling Crested Guinea fowl and many more can also be found in the Lake Manyara National Park. Late afternoon drive back to Karatu at Ngorongoro Forest Tented Lodge for Dinner and Overnight.

DAY 04: Lake Manyara to Serengeti national park.

Distance: 145km

Non – game viewing time: 3 – 5 hrs

After breakfast, depart for Serengeti National Park, via the beautiful high lying farmland of Karatu and the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Leaving the highlands behind, you descend into the heart of wild Africa – the Serengeti National Park – with its endless plains, rolling into the distance as far as the eye can see. Then heard to the central park area, known as the Seronera area, one of the richest wildlife habitats in the park, featuring the Seronera River, which provides a valuable water source to this area and therefore attracts wildlife well representative of most of the Serengeti’s species. Arrive in time for lunch and enjoy an afternoon game drive in the Serengeti national park. Dinner and overnight at Mbugani Tented Lodge for 2 nights.

DAY 05: Full Day Game Drive In Serengeti National Park.

Full day game drive in Serengeti after breakfast game viewing drive along the Seronera River Circuit, which loops into the plains south of the Seronera River, and which is good for possible lion, Thomson gazelle, topic, ostrich and cheetah sightings. The visitor’s center not far from the Serengeti Seronera Lodge and public campsites is well worth a visit after the morning’s game drive. This nicely designed center, offers some interesting wildlife displays as well as a gift shop selling information leaflets and maps of the area. The center also has a shop where cold drinks and snacks can be purchased, as well as a picnic area and information trail up and around a nearby kopje. You will enjoy a relaxed picnic lunch at the center in the shade of the giant acacia trees. Late evening back to Mbugani Tented Lodge for Dinner and Overnight.

DAY 06: Serengeti to Ngorongoro Crater.

Distance: 145 Km

Non – game viewing time: 2 – 4 hrs

Early morning game drives in Serengeti, you might see animals hunting  and after the tour departs to Ngorongoro Conservation area. You will stopover at Olduvai Gorge, boasting with a history dating back to the dawn of time. It was here, that the anthropologists Drs. Lois and Mary Leakey discovered the skulls of ‘Nutcracker Man’ and ‘Handy Man’, both very significant links in the chain of human evolution . Late afternoon transfer to Ngorongoro Rhino Lodge where you will have Dinner and Overnight

DAY 07: Ngorongoro Crater to Arusha to Zanzibar.

Distance: 190 Km
Non – game viewing time: 3-4 hrs

After an early breakfast, you will descend over 600 meters into the crater to view wildlife. Supported by a year round water supply and fodder, the Ngorongoro conservation Area supports a vast variety of animals, which include herds of wildebeest, zebra, buffalo, eland, warthog, hippo and giant African elephants. Another big draw card to this picturesque national park, is it’s dense population of predators, which include lions, hyenas, jackals, cheetahs and the ever-elusive leopard, which sometimes requires a trained eye to spot. We will visit Lake Magadi, a large but shallow alkaline lake in the southwestern corner, which is one of the main features of the crater. A large number of flamingos, hippos and other water birds can usually been seen here. Late afternoon start drive from Ngorongoro Crater to Arusha City where you’ll take your flight to Zanzibar.

DAY08:  Prison Island Tour.

Prison island tour in Zanzibar is an half day tour, Prison island is also known as Changuu island, the name “prison island” came after this unique island being used by some sultans of Zanzibar to detain the recalcitrant slaves, it is found about 25 to 30 minutes boat ride (motorized) from the Stone town.

Swimming around Prison Island

While you are on this magnificent archipelago you will be able to swim around, the picturesque and turquoise waters can create the true color of the paradise, it is safe for all ages and with its white sandy beach many admire how beach-walk is lovely here.

Snorkeling at Prison Island

With its colorful schools of fish and outstanding coral reefs Prison island has been known as one among the best destinations for snorkeling trips, tropical fish eg black snapper, orange lined triggerfish, spotted garfish, barracuda, longfin bannerfish, emperor angelfish, rabbitfish, clown triggerfish, blue stripe.

Take pictures with Giant tortoises

Before you will have a delightful swimming, and the wonderful snorkeling, tourists can take a memorable pictures with the giant tortoises, most of these animals are 70 to over 100 hundreds years, with our trained guide, he will start by explaining how are they that keen on particular plants and what general they dislike. DAY 09: Relaxing on Zanzibar beach.

After breakfast from the hotel, depart from southern beach to enjoy and explore the Eastern beach of Bwejuu beach. This part of the coast features a magnificent white-sand beach which runs continuously for 20km, backed by stands of palm trees and fronted by a stunning coral lagoon with a fringing reef around 1km offshore. Enjoy sand and Sea the whole day at Bwejuu beach. While in the early evening you’ll go back to  Zanzibar Beach Hotel for Dinner and Overnight.

DAY10:Departure

Flight to Dar es Salaam international Airport:                

After breakfast your  driver will transfer you to Zanzibar International Airport for your flight to Dar es salaam International airport where you will board International flight for departure.
