DAY 01: Arrival at Kilimanjaro Airport to Arusha

Welcome to Tanzania.On arrival at Kilimanjaro Airport you’ll meet your company arranged driver who will transfer you to Arusha city to Mount Meru Hotel for dinner and overnight. Our driver will display your name on an Mupana Tours signboard. These procedures ensure that you are picked up by the correct driver, rather than by some of the airport taxi drivers who are looking for business. You’ll get a chance for Safari briefing/introduction before your dinner.

DAY 02: Arusha to Tarangire National Park.

Distance: 130 km
Non – game viewing time: 2 – 3 hrs

After breakfast the tour departs. First stop is Arusha Town for any last minute purchases before you head off on safari. Afterwards you head towards the Tarangire National Park for a game drive with picnic lunch at the park. Tarangire is well known for its huge elephant population and baobab trees. It forms the center of an annual migratory cycle that includes up to 3000 elephants, 25,000 wildebeest and 30,000 zebras. Over 550 birds species found in the park including Ashy Starling, Yellow-collared Lovebird, and Rufous-tailed Weaver. The lush grasses are full of ground birds like Northern White-bellied Bustard and both Red-necked and Yellow-necked Francolins and many others. Later afternoon you’ll drive back to Karatu to your allocated accommodation as requested for Dinner and Overnight.

DAY 03: Tarangire to Lake Manyara National Park.

Distance: 50 km
Non – game viewing time: 1 hr

After tasty breakfast from your hotel the tour will departs to Lake Manyara National Park. Lake Manyara National Park offers breathtaking views and a large variety of habitats. Acacia woodlands, water forests, baobab strewn cliffs, algae-streaked hot springs, swamps and the lake itself. And thanks to this the small Park is able to support a large number of animal species and incredible bird life. Manyara has the largest concentration of baboons anywhere in the world, also include Buffalo, Elephant Wildebeest, Zebra, Waterbuck, Warthog, Impala and also Manyara health population lion are famous for their tree-climbing antics.

Lake Manyara National Park has over 300 bird species including Eurasian migrant birds, acacia associated birds, raptors, and 3 endangered Tanzanian species: Rufous-tailed weaver, Ashy starlings and Black-collared Lovebird. The bush clups on the edge of the floodplain is occupied by groups of Long-tailed fiscal, the rare Pangani Long claw. The birds in the Lake Manyara forest are: Silvery-cheeked Hornbill, Narina Trogon, Crowned Hornbill, Schawlow’s Turaco, Emerald Cuckoo, Crowned Eagle and ground dwelling Crested Guinea fowl and many more can also be found in the Lake Manyara National Park. DAY 04: Lake Manyara to Lake Eyasi.

Distance: 110km

Walking Tour

After breakfast you will heard to Lake Eyasi is a very scenic soda lake found on the southern border of the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. This less visited lake lies at the base of the Eyasi escarpment on the western rift valley wall. This afternoon you will be introduced to the extraordinary people who belong to an indigenous tribe known as the ‘Hadzabe’ (hunter-gatherer Bushmen). The tribe inhabits the shores of Lake Eyasi as do the Nilotic-speaking Datoga tribe. You will visit these tribes, which will include a visit to their homesteads, learn about their way of life, animal tracking, medicinal plants, and much more. Some wildlife and a wide range of bird species can be viewed during walks around the lake, which can be arranged. During late afternoon you’ll drive back to Karatu for to your allocated accommodation as requested for Dinner and Overnight.

DAY 05: Lake Eyasi to Serengeti National Park.

Distance: 145 km
Non – game viewing time: 3 – 4 hrs

After breakfast, the tour will depart for Serengeti National Park, via the beautiful high lying farmland of Karatu and the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Leaving the highlands behind, you descend into the heart of wild Africa – the Serengeti National Park – with its endless plains, rolling into the distance as far as the eye can see. Then heard to the central park area, known as the Seronera area, one of the richest wildlife habitats in the park, featuring the Seronera River,which provides a valuable water source to this area and therefore attracts wildlife well representative of most of the Serengeti’s species. Arrive in time for lunch and enjoy an afternoon game drive in the Serengeti national park. You’ll have your Dinner and overnight at your allocated accommodation as requested

DAY 06: Full Day Game Drive in Serengeti National Park.

Full game drive at Northern Serengeti to Mara River in northern Serengeti affords the most dramatic river crossings. Fierce and deep, cliff-sided and rain-swollen, the river takes an enormous toll of the exhausted and terrified wild cattle that surge through its torrential flow, some drowning helplessly, foundering in narrow defiles, floundering in mud, falling victim to crocodile, staggering, exhausted to dry land and often, in confusion, returning to the same scene of their ordeal allowing the cycle to repeat itself. early evening return to your allocated accommodation as requested.

DAY 07: Serengeti to Ngorongoro Crater.

Distance: 145 km
Non – game viewing time: 3 – 4 hrs

After breakfast you will have morning game in the Serengeti National Park. In the Seronera Valley you might be lucky to see predators hunt as animals gather at the waters during the dry season. After lunch at a picnic spot you will slowly drive in the direction of the Ngorongoro Crater. As soon as you have reached the crater you will have a superb view of the caldera. This approximate 20 km wide crater is part of an UNESCO World Heritage Site and is home to over 20,000 animals. You will stay at your allocated accommodation as requested on the crater rim from where you will be able to enjoy an incredible sunset.

DAY 08: Ngorongoro Crater to Karatu.

Distance: 51 km
Non – game viewing time: 1 hrs

After an early breakfast, you will descend over 600 meters into the crater to view wildlife. Supported by a year round water supply and fodder, the Ngorongoro conservation Area supports a vast variety of animals, which include herds of wildebeest, zebra, buffalo, eland, warthog, hippo and giant African elephants. Another big draw card to this picturesque national park, is it’s dense population of predators, which include lions, hyenas, jackals, cheetahs and the ever-elusive leopard, which sometimes requires a trained eye to spot. You will visit Lake Magadi, a large but shallow alkaline lake in the southwestern corner, which is one of the main features of the crater. A large number of flamingos, hippos and other water birds can usually been seen here. Late afternoon transfer to Karatu for Dinner and Overnight at allocated accommodation as requested

DAY 09: Karatu to Manyara Masai Boma to Arusha to Zanzibar.

After breakfast to your Hotel the tour will depart to Manyara Masai Boma. This is one of our most popular Culture tours in the Masai tribe, which is based around a traditional Masai Boma (dwelling). This tour is led by Masai local guide and you will be told about tribal customs and the methods in which they build their dwellings. The village you visit still preserve the traditional Masai way of life and you will be enthralled by the truly wonderful and inspiring tales that these people will tell you about their history and way of life. You will also get a chance to learn how the Masai women make their beautifully colored and intricate jeweler. The money raised from the sale of their traditional jeweler goes directly back into the local community. In addition, when you join our Masai Boma trip you will be able to watch a traditional welcome dance – something truly special that is sure to become a lifelong memory. DAY 10: Zanzibar Stone Town Tour

Your program starts with a morning visit by walk to our Historical Stone Town Tour. This tour takes you through fabled Stone Town, where history appears to stand still. With visits to the House of Wonders, the Palace Museum (People’s Palace) and the Arab Fort among others, it is a fascinating look at the essence of Zanzibar. You will see Zanzibar’s bustling market, winding alleyways, ornately carved and studded doors, two cathedrals and countless antique mosques among others. In the evening, go for a Dhow Sunset Cruise tour and later come back to the hotel for Dinner and Overnight at allocated accommodation as requested.

DAY 11: Zanzibar Safari Blue Tour.

Morning after breakfast from your hotel your guide will picked you up from your hotel to fumba village where you will meet your special boat, it is about visiting three different sand banks and you will stop in one of those for Sea food lunch where by later you do snorkeling (Optional) and having chance of seeing dolphin. DAY 12: Zanzibar Spice Tour.

After breakfast you will be visiting to the spice farm for your day tour on the way, the Spice tour in Zanzibar is a 4 hours guided tour, Tourists will get opportunity to discover a lot of things including Tropical fruits, Spices and herbs, and some of the rarely species of other plants from different vegetation. It is just more than a tour; tourists may get unique experience to prove why Zanzibar is called the Spice Island. After breakfast from the hotel, depart from southern beach to enjoy and explore the Eastern beach of Bwejuu beach. This part of the coast features a magnificent white-sand beach which runs continuously for 20km, backed by stands of palm trees and fronted by a stunning coral lagoon with a fringing reef around 1km offshore.
