DAY 0: Arrival at Kilimanjaro Airport to Arusha

Welcome to Tanzania.On arrival at Kilimanjaro Airport you’ll meet your safari guide/driver who will transfer you to Arusha city to your allocated accommodation as requested for dinner and overnight. You will get chance for briefing and introduction about your safari before your dinner.

DAY 01: Arusha to Tarangire National Park.
Distance: 130 Km
Non – game viewing time: 3 – 4 hrs
Tarangire National Park is the sixth largest national park in Tanzania; it is located in Manyara Region. The name of the park originates from the Tarangire River that crosses the park. The Tarangire River is the primary source of fresh water for wild animals in the Tarangire Ecosystem during the annual dry season. The Tarangire Ecosystem is defined by the long-distance migration of wildebeest and zebras. During the dry season thousands of animals concentrate in Tarangire National Park from the surrounding wet-season dispersal and calving areas. Game drive of the Tarangire National Park. The Park covers an area of 2600 sq km. It’s the 6th largest park in the country. The park is most spectacular between June and December. During this time thousands of animals migrate from dry Masai steep to Tarangire River, looking for Water. Among other species to be seen at Tarangire are rhino, buffalo, elephant, lion, warthog, eland, the fringe eared Oryx, lesser and greater kudu, gerenuk and large number of impala. Late afternoon you’ll drive back to Karatu to your Allocated accommodation as requested for Overnight and Dinner.

DAY 02: Tarangire to Lake Manyara National Park.
Distance: 50km
Non – game viewing time: 2 – 3 hrs
After breakfast the tour departs to Lake Manyara. Lake Manyara National Park offers breathtaking views a large variety of habitats. Acacia woodlands, water forests, baobab strewn cliffs, algae-streaked hot springs, swamps and the lake itself. And thanks to this the small Park is able to support a large number of animal species and incredible bird life. Manyara has the largest concentration of baboons anywhere in the world and the lions here are also renowned for their tree climbing.Late afternoon you’ll drive back to Karatu to your Allocated accommodation as requested for Overnight and Dinner.

DAY 03: Lake Manyara National Park to Ngorongoro Crater.
Distance: 87 Km
Non – game viewing time: 1 – 2 hrs
After breakfast you will continue your safari for Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Serengeti National Park. In the Seronera Valley you might be lucky to see predators hunt as animals gather at the waters during the dry season. After lunch at a picnic spot you will slowly drive in the direction of the Ngorongoro Crater. As soon as you have reached the crater you will have a superb view of the caldera. This approximate 20 km wide crater is part of an UNESCO World Heritage Site and is home to over 20,000 animals. You will stay at your Allocated accommodation as requested on the crater rim from where you will be able to enjoy an incredible sunset.

DAY 04: Ngorongoro Crater to Arusha.
Distance: 210km
Non – game viewing time: 3 – 4 hrs
In the morning let the sounds of birds and wildlife awake you in the distance. After a warm scrumptious breakfast, hop in your jeep and begin the descent into the “world’s largest Caldera”. You’ll descend over 600 meters into the crater to view wildlife. Supported by a year round water supply and fodder, the Ngorongoro conservation Area supports a vast variety of animals, which include herds of wildebeest, zebra, buffalo, eland, warthog, hippo and giant African elephants. Another big draw card to this picturesque national park is its dense population of predators, which include lions, hyenas, jackals, cheetahs and the ever-elusive leopard, which sometimes requires a trained eye to spot. You’ll visit Lake Magadi, a large but shallow alkaline lake in the southwestern corner, which is one of the main features of the crater. A large number of flamingos, hippos and other water birds can usually been seen here.After an extensive game drive and a picnic lunch you will leave the caldera in the late afternoon and drive back to Arusha, where you will arrive in the early evening to your requested accommodation or drive off to Airport.
