This tour will take you to the Ngorongoro Crater and the Ngorongoro Conservation Area in Tanzania, featuring one of the highest concentrations of game and arguably the densest population of predators and carnivores in Africa. Here you will witness an amazing spectacle of Tanzania wildlife – inside a self-contained world teeming with animals.Finally unforgettable tour will lead you to Manyara Maasai Boma where you will interact with the most powerful culture-tribe in East Africa Maasai, where you will get chance to know more about them and their activities before you head back to Arusha.

DAY 01:Arrival Tanzania- At JRO airport.

Welcome to Tanzania.On arrival at Kilimanjaro Airport you’ll meet your company arranged driver who will transfer you to Arusha city to Mount Meru Hotel for dinner and overnight. Our driver will display your name on an Mupana Tours signboard. These procedures ensure that you are picked up by the correct driver, rather than by some of the airport taxi drivers who are looking for business. You’ll get a chance for Safari briefing/introduction before your dinner.

DAY 02:Arusha to Tarangire National Park

Non game-viewing travel time : 2-3 hours
Distance: 140 Km

After breakfast the tour will departs to the Tarangire National Park. You’ll stop at Arusha Town for any last minute purchases before you head off on safari. Afterwards you head towards the Tarangire National Park for a game drive with picnic lunch at the park. Tarangire is well known for its huge elephant population and baobab trees. It forms the center of an annual migratory cycle that includes up to 3000 elephants, 25,000 wildebeest and 30,000 zebras including a large numbers of birds species.Then after extensive game drive start drive back to Karatu at Ngorongoro Oldean Mountain Lodge for Dinner and Overnight.

DAY 03: Tarangire to Lake Manyara National Park 

Non game-viewing travel time : 1 hour
Distance: 50 Km

After breakfast from Twiga Camp site the tour departs to Lake Manyara. Lake Manyara National Park offers breathtaking views and a large variety of habitats. Acacia woodlands, water forests, baobab strewn cliffs, algae-streaked hot springs, swamps and the lake itself. And thanks to this the small Park is able to support a large number of animal species and incredible bird life. Manyara has the largest concentration of baboons anywhere in the world and the lions here are also renowned for their tree climbing. Then drive back to Karatu for Dinner and Overnight at Ngorongoro Oldean Mountain Lodge.

DAY 04: Lake Manyara to Serengeti National park.

Non game-viewing travel time : 3 – 4 hours
Distance: 145 Km

After breakfast, depart for Serengeti National Park, via the beautiful high lying farmland of Karatu and the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Leaving the highlands behind, we descend into the heart of wild Africa – the Serengeti National Park – with its endless plains, rolling into the distance as far as the eye can see. Then heard to the central park area, known as the Seronera area, one of the richest wildlife habitats in the park, featuring the Seronera River, which provides a valuable water source to this area and therefore attracts wildlife well representative of most of the Serengeti’s species. Arrive in time for lunch and enjoy an afternoon game drive in the Serengeti national park then drive back to Ole Serai Luxury Tented Lodge for Dinner and Overnight.

DAY 05:Full Day Game Drive Serengeti.

After breakfast, you’ll have a full day game drive in Central Serengeti. Apart from the large mammals, Serengeti is also home to gaudy agama lizards; Rock hyraxes scuffle around the surfaces of the park’s isolated granite kopjes. Wide varieties of dung beetle were found, and around 500 bird species have been recorded ranging from the outsized ostrich and bizarre secretary bird of the open grassland, to the black eagles that soar effortlessly above the Lobo Hills. Early evening drive back to Ole Serai Luxury Tented Lodge for Dinner and Overnight.

DAY 06 :Serengeti to Ngorongoro Crater.

Non game-viewing travel time : 3-4 hours
Distance: 188 Km

After early breakfast you will head to the Ngorongoro crater rim, your driver will take you via the scenic Masai Skopje and through “vilima saba” which translate seven hills, and this is indeed a path less traveled with so much to learn and discover. Seeing Lions resting on kopje like in pride rocks would be a bonus and cheetah brothers on their hunting mission or mom and babies resting on termites mounts. These are but a few of the past encounters of our safaris on this scenic route. We plan to arrive to Naabi check in gate to Ngorongoro conservation area in time for Lunch. While this is a three hours route we plan to take up to five hours as there is so much to see on the way.Later drive to Ngorongoro Conservation Area at Ngorongoro Sopa Lodge for Dinner and Overnight.

DAY 07:Ngorongoro Crater to Karatu

Non game-viewing travel time : 1:30 hour
Distance: 51 Km

After an early breakfast, you will descend over 600 meters into the crater to view wildlife. Supported by a year round water supply and fodder, the Ngorongoro conservation Area supports avast variety of animals, which include herds of wildebeest, zebra, buffalo, eland, warthog, hippo and giant African elephants. Another big draw card to this picturesque national park, is it’s dense population of predators, which include lions, hyenas, jackals, cheetahs and the ever-elusive leopard, which sometimes requires a trained eye to spot. We will visit Lake Magadi, a large but shallow alkaline lake in the southwestern corner, which is one of the main features of the crater. A large number of flamingos, hippos and other water birds can usually been seen here. Late afternoon drive back to Karatu at Ngorongoro Oldean Mountain Lodge for Dinner and Overnight.

DAY O8: Karatu to Manyara Maasai Boma to Arusha

Non game-viewing travel time : 25 Minutes
Distance: 27 Km

After breakfast to your Hotel the tour will depart to Manyara Maasai Boma. This is one of our most popular Culture tours in the Maasai tribe, which is based around a traditional Maasai Boma (dwelling). This tour is led by Maasai local guide and you will be told about tribal customs and the methods in which they build their dwellings. The village you visit still preserve the traditional Masai way of life and you will be enthralled by the truly wonderful and inspiring tales that these people will tell you about their history and way of life. You will also get a chance to learn how the Masai women make their beautifully colored and intricate jeweler. The money raised from the sale of their traditional jeweler goes directly back into the local community. In addition, when you join our Masai Boma trip you will be able to watch a traditional welcome dance – something truly special that is sure to become a lifelong memory. Being up close and personal with nature while walking with a Masai guide along the deeply spiritual trails their predecessors have trodden for hundreds and hundreds of years is an experience that will surely become the highlight of your visit to this magnificent country. Early afternoon after lunch start your safari head back to Arusha City to your hotel or Airport drop off.
