Your journey begins in Tarangire National Park, famous for its enormous elephant herds, ancient baobab trees and beautiful savannah landscapes. Follow the park’s wildlife-rich tracks along the Tarangire River, a vital water source that attracts elephants, giraffes, zebras, wildebeest, buffaloes and numerous other animals, particularly during the dry season. With a professional safari guide, explore the park’s diverse ecosystems while searching for predators such as lions and leopards. Tarangire is also a wonderful destination for bird enthusiasts, with a rich variety of resident and migratory bird species.
On the second day, continue to the spectacular Ngorongoro Crater, one of Africa’s most extraordinary natural wildlife sanctuaries. Descend approximately 600 metres into the crater floor for an exciting game drive surrounded by towering crater walls, open grasslands, freshwater pools, wetlands and acacia woodlands. This remarkable ecosystem supports a high concentration of wildlife, including lions, elephants, zebras, wildebeest, hippos and hyenas. With luck, you may also encounter the endangered black rhinoceros, one of the most treasured sightings in the Ngorongoro Conservation Area.

Tarangire National Park is one of Tanzania’s most beautiful and underrated safari destinations, located in the northern safari circuit, just a few hours’ drive from Arusha. The park is famous for its large elephant herds, ancient baobab trees, and the seasonal Tarangire River, which becomes a vital water source for wildlife during the dry months. The most animals’ species found in the park are lions, leopards, and occasionally cheetahs’ zebras, buffaloes, giraffes, wildebeests, impalas, and waterbucks’, fringed-eared oryx and African wild dogs. The Ngorongoro Crater is a massive, unbroken volcanic caldera located in northern Tanzania, within the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Formed about 2 to 3 million years ago when a giant volcano exploded and collapsed, the crater is now a self-contained ecosystem teeming with wildlife. Descend over 600 meters (2,000 feet) deep in to the crater. Ngorongoro Crater is often called “Africa’s Eden” because of its incredible density of wildlife. It’s home to Big Five as lion, elephant, buffalo, rhino and leopard. The large herds of zebras, wildebeest, gazelles, hippos including predators such as cheetahs, hyenas, and jackals.
